Assay / Buy a YouTube channel

Buy a YouTube channel without paying first

A YouTube channel is usually bought for the revenue and the watch time behind it. Whether it is monetised, and whether that monetisation survives a transfer, is the thing to establish before any money moves.

However good the listing looks, the risk in this trade is the order of events: whoever moves first can be left with nothing. Here the buyer's money is locked in escrow before the seller hands over a login, and it stays there until the buyer has had 72 hours to check what arrived.

1 open. Figures are rounded and the account itself is not linked from this page — open a lot in the application to see what is actually being sold.

What to check before you pay for a YouTube channel

Subscribers, watch hours, RPM and traffic quality, plus monetisation status and any Content ID or strike history. Traffic quality has a floor here because bought views are what most often costs a channel its monetisation.

A lot below its quality floor does not reach the market at all. That is not a promise the figures are honest — it is a filter that removes the most obvious cases before a buyer ever sees them. Re-measure everything yourself during the inspection window.

How the escrow works

Four steps, and the money is never in the hands of the person who could walk away with it.

01

Buyer locks the funds

Two signatures in their own wallet: one letting the contract move that amount of USDC, one locking it. The money leaves their wallet and sits in the contract.

02

The contract holds it

Not us. We have no function that can move it to ourselves, and no key that could. Read the code — it is published and verified.

03

The seller hands over the account

Login, recovery mailbox, two-factor, moderator seats. Recorded here encrypted, readable only by the buyer, and that starts the inspection clock on chain.

04

The buyer releases, or the clock does

Re-measure the figures the lot was sold on. Satisfied, release and the seller is paid at once. Silent, and the seller can claim it themselves once the window ends. Wrong, and a dispute freezes the funds.

The seller pays 7.5% on settlement. Buyers pay nothing beyond the lot price and a network fee of roughly a cent. The full mechanics, and what we cannot do with your money, are on the home page.

Questions people ask before buying

Is it safe to buy a YouTube channel?

The payment is. Your money is held in escrow and the seller cannot reach it until you confirm the handover or the 72-hour window closes. The account is a separate risk: buying and selling accounts breaches YouTube's terms of service, and YouTube can reclaim an account after a sale settles. Escrow protects the payment, not the account's future — anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

What happens if what I receive does not match the listing?

Open a dispute during the inspection window and the funds freeze where they are. A registrar rules between the two of you, and there is no third outcome in the contract — the money goes to the buyer or the seller.

What if the seller never hands anything over?

You reclaim your funds from the contract once the fulfil deadline passes. That path does not need us and cannot be blocked by us.

Can I sell a YouTube channel here?

Yes. The buyer's money is locked before you hand over a login, and if they go quiet after delivery the contract pays you once the inspection window closes. You need a wallet address to be paid at, and the lot has to clear the traffic quality floor.
